Bonna Indonesia supplied more than 1,400 spools of RCCP pipes and Special Fittings for Jawa 9&10 Ultra Super Critical Power Plant 2 x 1,000MW

PT Hutama Karya chose PT Bonna Indonesia to supply RCCP pipes and Special Fittings for Jawa 9&10 Ultra Super Critical Power Plant 2 x 1,000MW, located on the northwest tip of the Indonesian island of Java, close to the city of Cilegon. The project involved the development of two new coal-fired power plant units as an expansion of the existing Suralaya coal-fired steam power plant (CFSPP) and was part of the Indonesian government’s efforts to increase the power generation capacity in Indonesia.

PT Bonna Indonesia was proud to participate in this project by supplying over 1,400 spools RCCP pipes and Special Fittings (ND800 to ND3500) for Cooling Water System and Auxiliary Cooling Water System.

The Jawa 9 and 10 plants will use Doosan Heavy Industry’s ultra-supercritical (USC) technology for electricity generation, with Doosan’s boiler technology has higher output efficiency than a conventional subcritical technology.
