What is the purpose of Intermediate Jacking Station?
An Intermediate Jacking Station (IJS) provides additional jacking length achievable, resulting in longer drives with curve, distribute jacking forces effectively and better accommodate poor ground conditions, so reducing the number of shafts.

What is an Intermediate Jacking Station?
An Intermediate Jacking Station is composed of an head pipe with an extended steel collar and a tail pipe that slides inside the head pipe, housing hydraulic jacks to push the pipe section in front.
The result? Longer drives in curve, reduced civil works costs and environment disturbances.

Bakheng Drinking Water Supply
In September 2023, Bonna RCCP-J pipes (ND 2000 mm) were installed by microtunneling to cross the Tonle Sap River in Cambodia, supported by 6 Intermediate Jacking Stations (IJS). This project helped expand water access, increasing capacity by 60% and providing safe drinking water to over 1.5 million people.
