Tambak Lorok block-3 is a 779MW gas-fired, combined-cycle power project in the Semarang district, Central Java, Indonesia. Indonesia Power (IP), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) as an owner of this project, is developing the facility as part of the government’s 35,000 MW acceleration program and in order to increase electricity power supply to industry, business and household in Java-Bali power grid.
Black & Veatch which was selected to render EPC services for this project chose PT Bonna Indonesia with the manufacturing of RCCP pipes and Special Fittings with Nominal Diameter of 3500 mm, 2400 mm, 800 mm, and 500 mm, with the total length 1003,58 meters, where they were all manufactured at our factory in Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java.
This project is estimated to generate approximately 3.7 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity which will be enough to power up to five million Indonesian homes annually.
